LAPU-LAPU HEALTH RUN

The Lapu-Lapu City Health Run is the brainchild project of the sporty and able Lapu-Lapu City Councilor, Harry Don Radaza, in cooperation with the Lapu-Lapu City Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Nicole Balao. 

It is a nine-leg running series held in the different barangays of the city with participants exclusive for Lapu-Lapu City residents only.  The registration is pegged at P200 and it comes with it a neon green singlet and a band wrist containing the race number.  It is by far the most affordable registration fee because for your P200, you've got to run in nine (9) scheduled races for four months. Those who can't afford to pay the P200 can still opt for the free registration but the organizers are requiring them to sign a waiver.

  

As a proud Oponganon, I had the privilege to be part of it.  The program was timely as I have decided to take running seriously.  I also thought this would be a rare chance to revisit some places that I haven't been    into for the past years.
